We our family of four 1st time taken room at Lotus Desaru Beach Resort just in August 2026. We are Singaporean and our elderly parents from India. One of our Indian family in Singapore suggested to stay there as we are going as family. Nicely located near beach in safe height. From road side to all the way to main reception building both sides of roads nice decorated and both side with trees. Building outside looks bit old and traditional building. Then we went to reception to take our queue number. Lot counters and systematically arranged with digital boards. Well organised. Full of crowd as it was holiday Season. Within few miniutes they called our number. Then reception young girl with smily face called us. Noticed almost all reception people so polite and smiley face. First impression always the best impression. Then taken room. Wow!!! Inside the room very big so nice and beautifully arranged. We took suits rooms. It's like EM houses in Singapore. Below big hall, with fridge and drinks. Take steps to go up for rooms and one more bathroom. Full unit nicely air-conditioned. Then we realised Lotus is the best choice. Also so many blocks in the resort and plenty car parks. No restrictions for number of cars. We went there with 2 cars. I think blocks starts with A to L. Each block almost 5 story height with lot rooms. We our family taken 3 suit rooms. Importantly service is superb and fast. If we call assistant within few minutes guys/girls assisting. Really wondered how they maintain. Lot activities from sea games to kids programs and bubble sticks loan system. Massage chairs and board games. Then we booked Mangrove tour. Wow!!! One driver named Mr Balaji pickup us from Lotus Resort reception to Mangrove tour pakage one boat (45 minutes drive) even joined with us tour and guided us all the way. Really i never seen in other resorts in other countries. We have visited many Europe and Asian countries never seen hotel/resort van/car driver joined with us. Also Mr Balaji so polite and behaved like our family member. Even in resort we felt like lot our families gathered together. All races of families there. Especially morning free breakfast lot items for Indians as well all races. Salute to Lotus Desaru Resort management. We fully enjoyed that trip. Thanks for reading my long review. Great value for money, especially with the water play facilities included. The resort has a beautiful view and a peaceful environment, making it a great place to unwind and escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.
The surroundings are pleasant and relaxing, and the water play area is a nice bonus for families, especially if you’re travelling with young children. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay with a good balance of relaxation and activities.
Would definitely consider coming back for another relaxing getaway!

This resort is well maintained.
Super clean and dry washrooms.
The staffs are all very friendly and efficient.
The restaurant: Indian, Korean, Seafood and Buffet all within resort. Most of the time, they allow food frm another restaurant to be eaten at another one.
Waitress all amazing job.
