I stayed at Lotus Desaru Beach Resort twice. And love this place especially if you go with big families and with children. Yesterday, 28 June, my husband and i ride to Desaru to meet friends and on our back to Johor Bahru it started to rain and i suggest my husband to stop at Lotus Desaru Beach Resort to put on our rain gears. As usual we have to pass thru the security checkpoint and a gentleman security staff ask us whether we checking in but we say no, we just need a bit of the shelter to put on our rain gears and he allow us just next to the security checkpoint. After that we thanks him and he smile and say welcome. Sorry i did not get to see his name tag. It was on 28 June 2026 @ 1pm. Please thank him again.
We used splash pool, beach and funland and spent the rest of the time driving out to away attractions such as croc farm, firefly park, mini zoo, temple village, Rapid etc, for which Lotus was a good base. At the price point, renovated rooms would give them my 5-star review.
